About Us.

We're about YOU. Seeing your vision through from conception through to final dream gown. Whether be it a wild crazy vision, photobook of torn magazines, or haphazard sketch on a napkin, we want to create it.

Our Designer

Malorin Designs began in 2002, offering high quality custom designed gowns to discerning buyers with a specific vision for their big day;  But designer Terri Radons has been constructing gorgeous gowns for over 12 years. “I started manipulating patterns and draping at a young age - I remember making the first pattern for a Barbie doll gown as a little girl...then it was the Crayola fashion designer kit with croquis, lightbox and texture shader – I was hooked!”.

Completing her Bachelor of Human Ecology in Clothing and Textiles at the University of Manitoba, she served her practicum at Nygård International, and is familiar with both computer and hand drafting techniques to create unique, one a kind designs. Today, Malorin creates custom gowns for all your formal occasions: bridal parties, graduation, sorority functions, and charity galas.

Our Philosophy

Customers remain the driving force behind our collections: “It’s that moment of elation when a woman tries on her gown for the first time – that moment of awe when even she is astounded at how radiant she not only looks, but feels in the dress. We know that every woman is different. Creating your vision – and that moment – is why we’re in this business.“

Our Quality

With over 9 years combined retail, design, and apparel manufacturing experience, our designer knows it’s all in the details “You really get a feel for the materials, how they feel, drape, their movement, textures and sheen.... the multitude of trim, laces ribbons, beading....  Once the quality is maximized, It’s really the trims and materials that define a gown”.

At Malorin, we’re committed to the finishings that set your gown apart from all the others. In 2002 Malorin was awarded the University of Manitoba Fashion Show Award for Garment Construction, recognizing the commitment to quality and hand-finishing techniques that are still exemplified in every garment made today.
